Brand new Assos Equipe RS 1.3 short sleeve jersey from the Continental division of the World Tour Team Dimension Data*. Made for the 2019 season.

The Assos Equipe RS 1.3 is a superlight, stripped-back aerodynamic jersey that addresses the minute fit and comfort details that become noticed only after countless hours in the saddle. It’s not for everyone, but for brutal days at the WorldTour office. It is designed and tested together with the riders. It’s precisely what Dimension Data riders can count on.
Assos applied their airy miniCheck Tex for the front panel, which is a highly elastic 3D knit fabric that’s been specifically developed with breathability and aerodynamics in mind. At the rear, the Stabilizator V7 textile is incorporated, which stabilizes the jersey with its limited vertical-stretch composition, especially when the pockets are loaded up. The aggressive in-saddle position pros take also inspired material choice for the sleeves and upper back panel, which needed to be as buttery smooth and flexible as possible. The fine-gauge warp knit Push-Pull textile was just the ticket, providing high UV protection along with its quick-drying, bi-stretch properties.

*Dimension Data for Qhubeka cycling team was a sub-division of the Dimension Data Pro Cycling team which was a World Tour Team. The Dimension Data for Qhubeka Continental division acted as a supply chain for the Pro Tour Team which competed at the highest level in the cycling world. A successful team with stage wins in Giro d'Italia, Tour Down Under, Paris-Nice and the European Championships. Team Dimension Data had several well-known team profiles, including Roman Kreuziger, Michael Valgren, Edvald Boasson Hagen, the South African national road race champion Ryan Gibbons and the European time trial champion Victor Campenaerts.
